About Soundarya College of Law
Soundarya College of Law (SCL) was established in 2018 under the Soundarya Educational Trust, in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The college is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University and approved by the Bar Council of India, offering both 3-year LLB and 5-year BA LLB/BCom LLB programmes. SCL runs an active legal aid clinic and a dedicated moot court society, building its reputation around experiential legal training rather than classroom learning alone.
About the 4th All India Moot Court Competition
The Moot Court Society’s 3rd edition in 2025 drew strong participation from top law colleges nationally, judged by a panel that included a sitting High Court judge alongside veteran jurists and practitioners. Building on that momentum, SCL now returns with its 4th edition, offering law students a genuine national platform to test their advocacy skills.

Who Can Participate
Each team needs a minimum of two members and a maximum of three: two designated speakers and one researcher. Participants must currently be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in law, either a 3-year LLB or a 5-year integrated programme, from a recognised university. Only one team per college can register for this edition.

Two fee options apply, depending on whether you need accommodation:
- With accommodation: INR 7,500
- Without accommodation: INR 5,500
How Registration Works: A Three-Phase Process
SCL runs registration through three distinct phases, and missing a step at any stage can cost your team its slot.
Phase 1: Provisional Registration. Fill out the Provisional Registration Form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf_DMCttzm3zfoZ7eezfXZGyhh1ozTC8icvxGBEilg71tUkdw/viewform, before 19 September 2026. Once the Organizing Committee reviews your application, you’ll receive a Temporary Team Code by email. This code doesn’t guarantee your team a slot. It only allows you to move to the payment stage.
Phase 2: Final Registration and Payment. Complete final registration and pay your fee on or before 26 September 2026, after you’ve received your Temporary Team Code. Pay through the designated gateway shared in that email, then upload your payment receipt through the Final Confirmation Form sent to your team.
Phase 3: Permanent Team Code Allocation. Once SCL verifies your payment, you’ll receive a Permanent Team Code. This code becomes your team’s sole identity throughout the competition, so guard it carefully. Disclosing your institutional identity beyond this code leads to immediate disqualification.
After completing registration, email a soft copy of your registration form along with payment details to scl.mootcourt@soundaryainstitutions.in to confirm your participation. Send the hard copy of your registration form, along with your travel plans, by 21 October 2026. Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Registration Is Capped: Move Quickly
SCL has capped this edition at 40 participating teams, due to strong demand for the previous edition. The registration portal closes automatically once that cap is reached, regardless of the official deadline. A Temporary Team Code doesn’t reserve your spot. Slots go strictly to whichever teams complete Phase 2 first. SCL has also been explicit that no extensions, late registrations, or delayed payments will be entertained under any circumstances, so treat every deadline here as final.
