The Centre for Economy and Trade (CET) at Chintan Research Foundation (CRF) works on current economic and trade policy questions involving India and global markets.
Its work covers areas such as the India-EU FTA, India-Indonesia relations, tariffs and forex reserves, with research feeding into policy briefs, articles, roundtables and other public-facing work.
About the Opportunity
This Research Internship at the Centre for Economy and Trade offers an opportunity to work directly with the CET team on research related to trade policy, industry trends and global economic forecasts.
Interns will contribute to research reports, policy papers and articles, organise research for ongoing projects and support events, seminars and workshops.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree, preferably in Economics, International Trade or Public Policy
- Understanding of current economic and trade policy debates in India and globally
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Clear writing and speaking skills
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse data on trade policy and industry trends.
- Track global economic forecasts.
- Contribute to research reports, policy papers and articles.
- Organise and document research for ongoing projects.
- Support events, seminars and workshops.
