About the Opportunity
The Office of a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, is inviting applications for an unpaid parliamentary internship beginning on October 10, 2026. The internship will be conducted in hybrid mode in New Delhi.
There are 3 vacancies, and the internship will continue from October 10 until the end of the Winter Session. Interns will gain exposure to parliamentary proceedings, legislative research, policy work and the functioning of Parliament.
Eligibility
- Students or recent graduates can apply.
- Applicants may be from Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Journalism, International Relations or related fields.
- Strong research, analytical and writing skills are required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with research and briefing notes.
- Track the daily business of the House.
- Support drafting Parliamentary Questions, speeches and talking points.
- Assist with policy research and parliamentary work.
- Support media monitoring and external engagements.
