The role provides practical exposure to legal, compliance, investor onboarding, and financial services processes.
About the Opportunity
The Legal Internship at Dovetail Capital offers hands-on experience in onboarding global investors, regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering frameworks, and investor documentation.
Interns will work with investment managers and other teams while gaining exposure to PMLA/AML guidelines, KYC processes, FATF and sanctions screening, and global AML laws and policies.
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM graduates.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Onboard individual and non-individual global investors.
- Coordinate with investment managers and execute onboarding processes.
- Screen NRI and foreign investors from FATF and sanctions perspectives.
- Ensure onboarding aligns with PMLA/AML guidelines.
- Research and interpret global AML laws and policies.
- Coordinate with KRA, CKYC, and Depository Participants.
- Update process notes and checklists based on regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with investor onboarding and backend data management teams.
- Understand scheme banks, wire transfers, and custodian arrangements.
- Oversee post-investment deliverables such as welcome kits and NAV coordination.
