I am currently a fourth-year B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) student at Maharshi Dayanand University. Law was not originally a planned career choice for me, as I initially intended to pursue BBA or B.Com after Class 12. I eventually chose law with the aim of preparing for the judiciary, but the recent requirement of three years of practice before appearing for judicial service examinations has left me uncertain about my career path.
Additionally, my parents are not supportive of litigation practice, which has further added to my confusion. Although my interest in the judiciary still remains strong, I am unsure about the best way forward after graduation.
In this situation, should I consider pursuing an LL.M., preparing for other civil services examinations, or exploring alternative legal career paths? How should someone in my position approach this career dilemma?
