I am a law student who wants to build a career in GST and indirect taxation. While exploring this field, I have noticed that many successful professionals are Chartered Accountants as well as lawyers. This has made me wonder whether an LL.B. alone is enough to succeed in indirect tax practice, or whether pursuing a CA qualification is almost essential for long-term growth.

Is an LL.B. alone sufficient to build a successful career in indirect taxation, or is a CA qualification necessary to succeed in this field?
