Submissions must be original and unpublished. Plagiarism can result in automatic rejection. In addition, manuscripts with a Turnitin similarity score above 20%, after relevant exclusions such as bibliography, quotations and small matches, will be rejected.
The article should contain between 1,000 and 2,000 words, excluding endnotes. Longer submissions may be considered for publication in multiple parts, subject to the Editorial Board’s discretion.

- Font: Times New Roman
- Font size: 12
- Line spacing: 1.5
- Alignment: Justified
- Citation method: Endnotes
- Citation style: Bluebook 20th edition

Review and Publication Process
The USLLS ADR Blog follows a double-blind review process. Two editors evaluate each submission on different parameters before the Editorial Board communicates its decision.
The review process usually concludes within 14 days from the date of acknowledgment of the submission. Following the review, the blog communicates an acceptance, conditional acceptance or rejection decision to the author.
If the Editorial Board suggests revisions, authors receive 10 days to make the required changes. Authors are expected to incorporate the suggestions in good faith.
The blog also follows an exclusivity requirement. Once the Editorial Board accepts a manuscript for publication, copyright in the manuscript vests in the Blog, while the moral rights remain with the author or authors.
Furthermore, the blog accepts exclusive publications only. Therefore, once a manuscript has been accepted, authors cannot publish the same manuscript elsewhere.
How to Submit
Authors must submit their manuscripts through the prescribed Google Form. The submission must be in .doc or .docx format.
Along with the article, authors must provide an abstract or summary of not more than 100 words. The abstract does not count towards the 1,000–2,000-word article limit.
