About the Opportunity
A legal team is hiring a Legal Associate – Civil & Criminal Litigation for its offices in Dehradun and Haridwar. The role is open to candidates with 1–4 years of experience and requires an LL.B. from a recognised university.
The selected candidate will handle and assist with civil and criminal litigation before Trial Courts, High Courts and the Supreme Court. The role also involves drafting, court appearances, legal research, case management and client coordination.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognised university.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and prosecute petitions under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 / Section 482 of the CrPC, 1973.
- Handle civil and criminal litigation before Trial Courts, High Courts and the Supreme Court.
- Draft and appear in regular bail, anticipatory bail and bail cancellation matters.
- Handle criminal appeals, revisions, transfer applications and Criminal Writ Petitions under Articles 226 and 227.
- Conduct criminal trials before Magistrate Courts, particularly in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
- Handle civil suits, written statements, replies, rejoinders and interim applications.
- Assist with civil appeals, revisions, recovery, property, injunction and commercial disputes.
- Handle proceedings under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs and written submissions.
- Assist Senior Advocates during hearings.
- Coordinate with clients, investigating agencies, courts and other stakeholders.
- Track developments in civil and criminal laws, procedures and judicial precedents.
