About JCLG and Volume IX, Issue 2

The Journal on Corporate Law & Governance (JCLG) is a research initiative under the aegis of National Law University, Jodhpur. The journal focuses on the development of corporate governance standards and encourages research on contemporary corporate law issues from both academic and industry perspectives.

JCLG has published annually since 2008. It is a peer-reviewed journal with ISSN Serial Publication No. 0976-0369. The journal is also indexed on HeinOnline, SCC Online and Manupatra.

For Volume IX, Issue 2, the Editorial Board seeks original submissions that examine emerging developments in corporate law and governance. The call is particularly suited to authors interested in corporate regulation, financial markets, insolvency, business policy and related areas.

The Editorial Board also encourages submissions that examine recent legislation, regulatory developments, judicial decisions and institutional practices. In addition, interdisciplinary, comparative and policy-oriented research is welcome, particularly where it offers concrete recommendations for improving India’s corporate and regulatory framework.

Theme and Sub-Themes

The broad theme for the issue is:

“Recalibrating Corporate Governance: Accountability, Private Capital, and India’s Evolving Corporate Law Framework”
