Pragyan, associated with the School of Law, SVKM’s NMIMS, Indore, announces the 1st National Blog Writing Competition 2026. The competition invites undergraduate and postgraduate law students to examine contemporary legal and socio-legal issues surrounding narcotics regulation in India.

Under the theme “Ink Against Narcotics: Perspectives on India’s Drug Laws,” participants can analyse India’s narcotics laws, judicial developments, enforcement mechanisms and rehabilitation policies. Moreover, the competition encourages critical discussion on the balance between state security, individual rights, rehabilitation, decriminalisation and harm reduction.

The last date for registration and submission is October 20, 2026.

About the Competition
