About the Organiser
The Centre for Law and Economics, CNLU, Patna is organising the 1st Axiom5-CLE National Article Writing Competition 2026.
The competition brings together legal and economic perspectives on contemporary competition law issues. Therefore, participants can explore how changing markets, technology and regulatory developments affect competition law.
About the Competition
The 1st Axiom5-CLE National Article Writing Competition 2026 focuses on the theme “Competition Law in a Changing Market Order.”
Competition law frequently intersects with economics. For example, market definition plays an important role in dominance cases, while merger review may examine whether a combination could affect prices or competition. Similarly, cartel cases can require an assessment of conduct that may appear to constitute ordinary business activity.
The competition also focuses on the changing landscape of Indian economic law. In particular, the Competition (Amendment) Act, 2023 introduced developments concerning settlements, deal-value thresholds and global-turnover penalties.
Moreover, the competition encourages students to examine emerging questions surrounding digital markets, platform power, artificial intelligence and algorithmic coordination.
