The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) is inviting applications for its Internship Programme 2026. The programme offers law students an opportunity to understand the functioning of NALSA and gain practical exposure to legal services and access to justice.

The internship is a one-month, full-time physical internship. Students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes can apply.

The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) was constituted under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. It works to provide free legal services to weaker sections of society and organise Lok Adalats for the amicable settlement of disputes.

About the Internship

NALSA offers this internship programme to law students across the country. The programme aims to familiarise students with the working of NALSA through hands-on experience in different areas of legal services.

In addition, the internship provides students with an opportunity to understand the practical aspects of promoting access to justice.
