About the Opportunity
Cipla is offering a Law Intern – Compliance role in Mumbai. The internship is a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting the company’s legal and compliance function.
The intern will work on legal research, policy and guideline review, compliance documentation, regulatory updates and preparation of reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognised institution.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Ability to draft and review basic legal documents and policies.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Familiarity with compliance concepts such as anti-bribery, data protection and industry codes is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks within timelines.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Research pharmaceutical and healthcare laws.
- Review and draft policies and internal guidelines.
- Summarise legal and regulatory findings.
- Assist with compliance reports and presentations.
- Maintain compliance documentation.
- Track changes in laws, industry codes and corporate governance requirements.
- Support monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance and business teams.
