Participants are asked to analyse the interplay between the judgment and the 2026 statutory amendment, particularly its implications for fiscal federalism and the division of constitutional powers.
2. Representation and Federal Balance
This topic focuses on delimitation, democratic representation and India’s federal structure. Participants are invited to examine the tension between the principle of equal voter representation and equal partnership among States in the context of the impending delimitation exercise.
3. Rights & Autonomy
This topic examines gender identity, dignity, autonomy and fundamental rights in the context of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Amendment Act, 2026.
