7th Kerala Law Academy ADR Competition 2026
The 7th Kerala Law Academy ADR Competition 2026 is a national-level ADR competition hosted by the Kerala Law Academy Law College, Peroorkada, Thiruvananthapuram. The competition will follow a hybrid format, with the preliminary and semi-final rounds conducted virtually and the final round held at the Kerala Law Academy campus.
About the Kerala Law Academy ADR Competition 2026
The competition provides law students with an opportunity to develop practical skills in alternative dispute resolution, negotiation, conciliation, mediation and arbitration through a role-play-based competition. Different ADR methodologies are incorporated across the competition rounds.
The 7th Kerala Law Academy ADR Competition 2026 will be hosted by the Kerala Law Academy Law College in Thiruvananthapuram.
Eligibility and Team Details
The competition is open to law colleges, law schools, universities and departments of law in India that are recognised by the Bar Council of India.
- Postgraduate law students and students pursuing correspondence courses are not eligible.
- Multiple teams may participate from the same institution with the institution’s permission.
- Each team must consist of two members and one Rapporteur.
Competition Format and Dates
The competition will be conducted in a hybrid format:

The preliminary and semi-final rounds will be conducted through Zoom, while the final will be held at the Kerala Law Academy campus.
The competition will feature conciliation in the preliminary round, mediation in the semi-finals and international arbitration in the finals. The corresponding problems are provided in the rulebook.
Registration Fee
The registration fee is ₹3,250 per team. Teams must complete their final registration by 31 August 2026.

Awards
The competition offers cash prizes and certificates. The Best Team will receive ₹20,000, while the Second Best Team and Best Rapporteur will receive Certificates of Honour. Every participant will also receive a certificate of participation.
