Duration: 6 months | Stipend: Not specified | Location: Preference for Delhi NCR | Practice Area: Competition/Antitrust Law | Track: Long-term talent pipeline, with potential full-time conversion

What Is the Corporate Professionals Assessment Internship?

Corporate Professionals (CP), founded in 2003, is a leading integrated legal and financial advisory firm. It works across corporate law, insolvency, securities law, FEMA, corporate restructuring, taxation, and dispute resolution, and holds SEBI registration as a Category-I Merchant Banker. This Corporate Professionals internship sits within the firm’s Competition Law practice specifically, and it’s structured differently from a typical short internship. CP designed this role as a long-term talent pipeline, not a resume-building stint.

About the Internship

This is a six-month Assessment Internship in Competition and Antitrust Law. Unlike a standard four-to-eight-week internship, CP built this role around evaluation over time, watching how you perform, how committed you stay, and how well you fit the firm’s culture across a genuinely long stretch. If you complete the internship successfully, CP may offer you a full-time position based on that performance and fit.

Competition and Antitrust Law is a genuinely specialised, growing practice area in India, and CP’s multi-disciplinary structure, spanning legal, financial, and transaction advisory work, gives interns exposure to how competition law questions intersect with M&A, corporate restructuring, and regulatory compliance more broadly.

Who Should Apply?

This internship suits you if you:

  • Are highly motivated and genuinely interested in Competition/Antitrust Law
  • Can commit to a full six-month internship, not a shorter stint
  • Are open to a long-term career track, since CP designed this role with full-time conversion in mind
  • Are based in, or can relocate to, the Delhi NCR region, since CP gives preference to candidates from this area

How to Apply for the Corporate Professionals Internship

  1. Prepare your CV.
  2. Write an original writing sample of at least 800 words, on any topic of your choice.
  3. Email both documents to career@indiacp.com.

This internship is free to apply for. No legitimate internship charges any fee. If anyone asks you for money to apply, it’s a scam.
