NC Legal, Advocates & Solicitors is offering a paid NC Legal internship at its New Delhi office for August 2026. This internship gives law students practical exposure to legal research, drafting, court proceedings, and client interactions, and interns will work directly under experienced legal professionals throughout the internship.

NC Legal, Advocates & Solicitors offers strategic, innovative, and holistic legal solutions to clients across India. The firm handles corporate commercial litigation, white-collar crimes, insolvency and bankruptcy, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, the firm regularly manages negotiations, arbitration, intellectual property rights, legal research, due diligence, contract drafting, and legal audits, and it represents clients before various courts and tribunals.

About the Internship

This NC Legal internship runs through August 2026 and takes place entirely in-office at the firm’s New Delhi location. Because the role spans research, drafting, and direct court and client exposure, it therefore suits students looking for well-rounded litigation and corporate law experience in a single internship.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in the 4th or 5th year of a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme, or in the 2nd year or final year of a 3-year LL.B. programme
  • Preferably familiar with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016
  • Comfortable using legal research platforms such as SCC Online and Manupatra

Skills the Firm Is Looking For

NC Legal wants candidates who bring the following qualities:

  • Punctuality, discipline, and commitment
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills
  • Solid critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Adaptability and a genuine eagerness to learn
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

What Interns Will Actually Do

Selected interns will gain hands-on exposure across four core areas: legal research, legal drafting, court proceedings, and client interactions. As a result, interns leave with practical experience across both the transactional and litigation sides of legal practice, rather than being confined to just one.

Stipend Details

  • The firm pays ₹5,000 for the internship period.
  • It may extend the stipend based on performance.
  • However, the firm pays the stipend only after successful completion of the internship — it will not pay any stipend if the intern terminates or discontinues early.

Duration, Mode, and Timings

The internship runs for 4 weeks and may extend further based on performance. Since this is a fully in-office internship, interns must be based in or able to relocate to New Delhi for the duration. Working hours run from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

Last Date to Apply

20 July 2026

How to Apply

Interested candidates should email their updated CV along with a brief cover letter to careers@nclegal.co, using the subject line “Internship Application – August 2026.” Alternatively, candidates can submit applications through the firm’s official careers page. Importantly, the firm accepts applications only through these two channels, so avoid submitting through any other mode.

Why This Internship Stands Out

Since this NC Legal internship blends litigation, IBC-related work, and client-facing exposure into one role, it works well for students who want to test their interest in disputes and insolvency practice before committing to a specific specialization. Moreover, the relatively short 4-week duration makes it approachable for students balancing internships with academic commitments.
