I am interested in building a career in corporate law and am currently looking for internship opportunities at law firms. However, I have noticed that many firms expect students to have prior exposure to skills such as legal drafting and due diligence.

In such a situation, can certificate courses genuinely provide an advantage during internship applications, or are there more effective ways to learn and develop practical drafting and due diligence skills? What would you recommend for students who want to improve their chances of getting placed in a good corporate law firm?
