About
Shaurya Sahay is an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India with over 12 years of appellate advocacy experience. He currently serves as Standing Counsel for the State of Uttar Pradesh before the Supreme Court and as Panel Advocate for the Government of Meghalaya β handling pivotal constitutional, civil, and criminal litigation across mining, service law, excise, and education law. A graduate of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, he runs the Chambers of Shaurya Sahay with a diverse practice spanning high-stakes commercial arbitrations, complex medico-legal disputes, stamp duty and property law, and education law including medical college regulation. He has argued matters of constitutional importance before the nation’s apex court with numerous reportable judgments to his credit, including matters covered by LiveLaw, The Hindu, and Verdictum. He has also framed policy and drafted legislation for government clients, and regularly mentors law students through internships at his chambers.
