About

Divya Sharma is a Law Faculty at the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) β€” one of India’s premier NLUs β€” and a PhD Scholar in Law at the same institution. She holds an LL.M. in Criminal Law from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, and has served as a Law Clerk cum Research Assistant at the Supreme Court of India. An alumna of NLUJAA who now teaches at her own alma mater, she has presented at the 3rd International Scientific Conference on Cybersecurity in Warsaw, Poland, participated in international faculty development programmes on AI and law at Bennett University, and engaged in symposia on Indo-Pacific policy and Northeast India connectivity. She is actively involved in NLUJAA’s DPIIT-IPR Chair initiatives and its collaboration with The LawCademy. With expertise spanning criminal law, cybersecurity, environmental law, and emerging technology regulation, she is an ideal mentor for students targeting legal academia, LL.M. admissions, PhD research, and Supreme Court clerkships.
