The call encourages writers to examine emerging legal issues and develop practical, policy-focused arguments.
About the RGNUL Call for Blogs
The Centre for Competition and Consumer Protection Law (CCCPL) at RGNUL promotes research and discussion on competition and consumer protection law. It also encourages policy-oriented work on issues affecting markets and consumers.
Through this RGNUL call for blogs competition law, the Centre aims to create space for fresh ideas on contemporary legal developments. Authors can also explore the suggested themes from different legal, economic and policy perspectives.
Who Can Submit?
The opportunity is open to students and professionals from different backgrounds. Academicians, researchers, Ph.D. scholars, legal practitioners and policy professionals can submit their work.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students can also participate. Authors may submit their work individually or with one co-author.
Suggested Topics and Themes
CCCPL has provided several suggested areas for submissions. However, authors do not need to follow these themes narrowly. They can develop related ideas with contemporary relevance.
The suggested areas include:
- Digital markets, platform power and competition law
- Merger control involving data and innovation
- Abuse of dominance and evidentiary standards
- Competition authorities and sectoral regulators
- Antitrust sanctions, remedies and deterrence
- Competition law, public interest and sustainability
- Competition law and labour markets
- Competition issues in AI and data-driven markets
- Extraterritorial application of competition law
- Global convergence of antitrust rules
Therefore, authors can also examine the intersection of competition law with technology, economics, regulation or public policy.
