About
Mudassir is an Associate at Sagus Legal, New Delhi, practising in commercial and regulatory dispute resolution with a growing focus on energy, infrastructure, and M&A-related litigation. A BSc. LLB (International Law & Legal Studies) graduate from KIIT School of Law (2022), he built his foundational litigation experience through nearly three years at the Office of Mr. Javedur Rahman, AoR, Supreme Court of India — first as a legal intern and then as an Associate — gaining direct exposure to Supreme Court practice at the highest level. At Sagus Legal, he has been part of landmark matters including a Supreme Court judgment on Indian Railways’ status under the Electricity Act, 2003 (a decade-long dispute), cross-border M&A advisory on the Craftsman Automation–Sunbeam transaction, and co-authored published expert opinion on India’s energy transition. His practice spans commercial litigation, regulatory disputes, insolvency, banking, and energy law, with a multilingual profile that includes Arabic and English fluency.
