The National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam through its DPIIT–IPR Chair, NLUJAA, in collaboration with The LawCademy, proudly presents the 1st International Article Writing Competition 2026 — a global platform for students, academicians, researchers, legal professionals, policymakers, and innovators to contribute towards contemporary discourse in Intellectual Property Law.

This international legal writing competition aims to encourage high-quality research and policy-oriented scholarship on emerging issues in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), technology law, innovation governance, copyright law, artificial intelligence, trademarks, startups, and global IP regulation.

Participants from India and across the world are invited to submit original and unpublished articles exploring the evolving dimensions of Intellectual Property Law and its intersection with technology, business, governance, entrepreneurship, and international legal systems.

The DPIIT–IPR Chair, NLUJAA was established under the SPRIHA Scheme of the Government of India to strengthen intellectual property awareness, innovation policy, legal research, and IP protection mechanisms, particularly in the North-East region of India.

  • Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th Edition)
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Original and unpublished submissions only
  • Maximum plagiarism permitted: 10%
  • Excessive AI-generated content may lead to disqualification
